Mark leads a group of office workers whose memories have been surgically divided into work and personal lives. When a mysterious colleague shows up outside of work, they embark on a journey to discover the truth about their work. The computer terminals used by the Macro Data Refinement team have no “escape” key. This is normal for the Data General Dasher D2 series terminals, which these appear to be. Featured on Late Night with Seth Meyers: Ben Stiller/Rose Matafeo/Brooke Colucci (2022). I can’t remember the last time I was this engrossed in a television show. I was hooked from the first episode, and was consistently impressed by the direction, visuals, acting, and plot development. It’s like a cross between Black Mirror and 1984, but it might be better than either of those works of art. This is truly something special, and I COULDN’T be more excited for season 2.
